Using sophisticated CAD/CAM software L&R Precision Engineering can work with you to design complex components that can be produced both accurately and efficiently meeting your needs for both quality and cost.
At L&R Precision Engineering we are experienced in machining a wide range of materials from Inconel to Brass and everything in between, including plastics. We have the ability to turn volume parts to an accuracy of 10 microns, repeatedly.

3D CAD/CAM & PROTOTYPES
Using our sophisticated CAD/CAM software we are able to develop complex models that can be interpreted in easy to understand schematic drawings.
We have the ability to take your ideas, complex designs, or models, and then machine the required part, we can also write and prove programmes prior to machining.
We can also assist in the design of your component to ensure its production is as cost efficient as possible.
Our CAD/CAM software includes: OneCNC XR6, Solid Edge ST8.
We can also accept customers’ CAD data in a wide variety of formats including: Solidworks, (*.sldprt), STEP (*.stp), IGES (*.igs), Parasolids (*x_t, *x_b, *xmt_txt, *xmt_bin)
CNC MILLING
4 axis CNC milling capacity with tables of 1370mm x 356mm and 610mm x 370mm.
CNC TURNING
We have 4 axis turning capacity capable of up to a maximum bar diameter of 77mm and a machining diameter of 380mm.
State of the art technology including Mazak, ensures cost effective and highly accurate precision turning.
VOLUME CNC TURNING
Using Citizen 7 axis sliding head lathes we can produce precision parts of the highest quality in a variety of materials including steels, alloys, plastics etc. using up to 3 meter bar lengths and a diameter to 20mm.
